Note that there is a specific users mailing list for Base
([EMAIL PROTECTED]) & that's where you'll most likely find quick
Base answers.
Going forward the place to find information such as FAQ's and Tips and
most new documentation will be the wiki.
For Base I believe all of the FAQ's and Tips now on the main site will
be moved fairly soon.
I n the case of the actual Base manual the decision has been made to
make the first publishing via the wiki, instead of via an ODT or PDF as
per the other modules.
The mailing lists for the dba project will of course remain in the same
place, as will the specification documents.
I don;t know about what any of the other projects will do with FAQ'a,
Tips and the lon the main site. I know that OOoAuthors will be moving
their stuff to wiki, or at least making an additional publishing of it
there, so the Getting Started Guide Chapter should be there before long.
For the moment the best starting off page for Base is most likely
http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/database it is basically a
growing index page for information all over, not just the wiki.
The newest additions, for Base on the wiki is only 1 day old - actually
less as it is still not totally finished and give a simple example of a
simple Report Builder report. can be found at
