Unfortunately this number does not reflect the real installations on,
e.g. Debian GNU/Linux which I install in the middle at least 10 times
per week including OpenOffice.org...

Oops... Realy one Day? How many Mirrors handel this traffic?
This is arround 30 TByte including the TCP overhead...

Which they do since it exist...
Lazzy to RTFM which are realy good written

I do not know why, but there are some peoples (Linux-Newbies) who have
choosen me as target asking me privately... :-/
Hey, I am only a human and not WikiPedia...
...and of course, I am using only Debian GNU/Linux.
I think it is definitivly better, if peoples using ANY versions of
GNU/Linux to ask in the appropiated mailinglists or forums.
And NO, Ubuntu/Kubuntu/Xubuntu should ask on <http://www.ubuntu.com/>
and NOT on any Debian Mailinglists since there ARE signifikant
differences EVEN if Ubunti and siters are derived from Debian.
It is even worse to be bothered with Bugs to a Distribution which do not
apply to the mailinglist/forum.
So general Issues on OpenOffice should be discused here, but issues
about installations on the approprieated mailinglists of the Operating
System.
I find it even worse, if on a general mailinglist (I men this one) where
MANY OS exists the peoples are asking 1000 times about installing OOo on
Windows...
Maybe OpenOffice.org sould crate a special ML for such users which would
reduce the traffic here a little bit.
