I reread this article four times.  I think he is only saying that Outlook.com (or Office365) servers will stop allowing the desktop Outlook client to connect via EAS.  I don't think he is saying that EAS support in the desktop Outlook client will be dropped. Although I can imagine that Microsoft might drop EAS support in desktop Outlook client once it's not needed for their own services.   This is clearly a big deal for SOGo.  Do you know of another source that might clarify this question ?
