"Tiny changes", as in small stones getting kicked down a slope, causing an avalanche. Attempts to restrict vocabulary should be a very familiar and worrying concept to anyone who read Orwell. Speaking out against this is very necessary. Silently tolerating stupid changes stems from either weakness, lack of understanding or disinterest. -Ralph
