I do love laptop especially since (trivially) they are meant to be portable and the modern configurations are quite powerful. My greatest problem with laptop is the overheating issue. The last one I used was HP pavilion 1 gig Athlon machine, and it overheated so bad that the fan screwed up and I had to send it back for repairs. I am curious how of this problem is relevant in the intel notebooks as well. I love apple machines but their laptops are too pricey. Their desktop systems seem great, bar the processor speed, they seem to have been an edge on the issue of hardware over the x86 machines. How has been your experiences with other notebooks especially the ones configured with AMD processors?
