No it doesn't. We are very aware of the physic's departements offer, and are hold off just a little while on it. (Sorry andrew, I'm really bad at getting back to people.) We do want to move phantom out. We've had offers from several people including our advisor in the Library. We're just waiting, for the election results to come together.
I wasn't pushing for phantom to be placed in physics. That might not be the best option. I was just wondering if the broom closet thing was one of the consequences of BYUSA.
Don't worry about not getting back to me. I know this is a complicated problem. :)
