Ok, I bow to everyone's superiority :-) I would like to think that I know how to
configure wireless pcmcia cards but I obviously don't. My co-worker has brought
his laptop up here to work with a brand new redhat 9 install. According to what
cardctl ident tells me, this is a Siemens Speedstream pcmcia. I checked out
http://www.linux-wlan.org/docs/wlan_adapters.html and found that this card has
one of the Prism chipsets. Now, how do you go about creating the device? Would
it be eth0 or wlan0? I'm stumped here. I can modprobe orinoco_cs just fine, but
I don't have the device set up or anything. He's (my co-worker) beginning to
lose faith in Linux....
