In my own experience none of these reasons really justify cross
posting. Any time that I have posted an answerable question to this
mailing list it has been answered within 3-5 minutes. It just seems
unnecessary to clutter up 2 or 3 different lists with some trivial
question. There are also better resources than mailing lists if you for
some reason need an answer in less than 3-5 minutes. IRC for example,
or even *gasp* the manual.
I'd have to agree with Stuart, once in a blue moon you could justify
cross posting but all the time is definitely annoying.
