That's one of the things I like about the UUG list. I don't think the big problem is the topic--I think it's the volume. One question from a particular person about PHP or CSS is fine--every once in a while. Talking about the LotR is fine--every once in a while. BarbieOS is even fine--once in a while. But if a particular person kept posting BarbieOS comments once a week, people would find it annoying. If a particular person kept posting LotR tangents once a week, people would find it annoying. And if a particular person posts PHP and CSS questions every week, people find it annoying. ~ ross -- This sentence would be seven words long if it were six words shorter. ____________________ BYU Unix Users Group http://uug.byu.edu/ ___________________________________________________________________ List Info: http://uug.byu.edu/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/uug-list
