Was that a challenge? That sure sounded like a challenge to me. Are
you threatening me?? CORNHOLIO?!? (sp?)

Every day of my life is hard-core kernel debugging on s390 mainframes
and RS/6000 PPC64 boxen. I tackle kernel panics and segfaults on a
daily basis. Rest assured, my friend, that I am not afraid of any
distro. I am not intimidated by any kernel. There is no firewall
configuration that will cause my knees to shake or my spirit to
flounder. No filesystem corruption or memory leak will damper my
resolve. I can find large co-prime factors in my head while debugging
machine code in octal! Aaaarrrrrrrr!

In all seriousness, it takes at least 2 hours to get a Debian box up
and running at an install fest. With Knoppix, it's more like 10-20
minutes. That only means that you can get more people in and out of
the install fest stations with less hand-holding. In fact, I would
bet that it takes less time to install Knoppix than Red Hat or
Mandrake, simply because all it does is copy over an image, rather
than install actual packages.

Mike
