You would be able to keep your comcast phone line, it is using the cable line to carry the signal for the phone number, kinda like voip only for cable lines (quam for those that know) so in a strange twist you could have your phone service from the cable company and your isp from the phone company separate.Thank you for that well formatted summary of all the pertinent information. Do you happen to know whether I can keep my comcast phone number if I switch to Qwest?
