I've just tested trying to browse the church web site while connected via
MLS. In summary, it's a no go.
First of all, the connection only remains active while you are doing a
send/receive updates; and while it's doing it, it's to busy to handle other
traffic. Once the MLS is done sending/receiving, the connection drops.
Now, I notice there is a dialup connection configured by MLS, with ppp user
in there but the password field is blank. So, somewhere somehow MLS issues
the password at the right time. If you still want to use the MLS dialup
account you'd probably request to obtain the ppp password from CHQ, or some
other "approved" mean.
