I've only had one dropped connection which required a power cycle in the last 6 months.


We got a "faster" connection, but since so many people in our complex
hopped on the deal, we get, oh tonight's good, 250 KB/s from kernel.org.
Right when we first got the "upgrade" 50 K/s from kernel.org was a fast
night. They apparently put in another line for cable modems to the
complex, so we're about where we were speed wise before the "upgrade".

They dropped the price for me and increased the download rate as well. I get almost 1 MB/s from fast sites. Upload is still bad, maybe maxing out at 75 KB/s. It is this unbalanced upload/download rate that really bugs me when doing remote ssh and nx stuff.
