When the internet gets verified as broken (completely down) in both Wymount and Wyview...it gets a LOT of priority. When the internet gets verified as broken (sporadically down) in both, it's less priority, but still high. When there are problems with the internet that aren't easily reproduced and more a nuisance than a showstopper, it gets noticed, but they can't devote many resources to a problem that can't be reproduced reliably eh? I don't know how many tickets have actually been opened with regard to this though so I can't figure what priority OIT has assigned... I encourage calling 2-4000 when you have some spare moments and asking them how they determine priority, urgency, and impact. They have a fairly methodical and documented process to do it.
