I don't care very much about that.  I can always find a car that will
work with my engine.  What I care about is freedom.  That's why I like
software licenses like the GPL and BSD.  That is to say, I'm willing
to sacrifice ease of use and even quality for freedom.

"Freedom from what?" those who value ease of use and quality above all
else would ask.
