The easiest way to lock someone out of a system without complicating a 
password, granted I know you want a gnome-screensaver specific password, is to 
generate a pass phrase.  Make the phrase simple with multiple words and space.  
That will allow you to type quickly and still keep the 2 year old from randomly 
guessing the password.
