If you think Darcs is fast, your mind will explode when you try git. It's usually hard to tell it's doing anything because it goes so flippin' fast. 'git' is even faster to type! As for the simple part...well, yes, darcs wins there, but git doesn't have to be as complicated as most tutorials make it. I still get "changes" and "whatsnew" confused though.
