Don't split the list into technical and non-technical. The Portland
Linux Users group (the other PLUG) has that arrangement, and both
lists are lame. The strictly technical one is all boooring tech
support, and the strictly non-technical one is either a total
flame-fest or way, way off-topic (which is probably scarier in
Portland that it would be at BYU, but still...). At least that's how
it was last time I checked a few years ago[1]. The UUG has done well
with a combined list. If it ain't broke...

This would probably be OK. There was a time when the main UUG list
was much more active and newbies felt safer on the newbie list, but I
don't know if that's such a big deal now.

1. OK, I just checked the archives again and saw sjansen in there!
Are you in the Northwest now, Stuart? Oh, and the list looked a
little more exciting than I remembered, but I still stand by not
splitting the UUG list.
