Source?  ;)  99% of statistics are made up on the spot you know.

You and I would make good choices like that, but many others don't.

I recall someone recently not liking my answer when they came to me in  
a panic wondering why they could not find any Fedora Core 4 mirrors so  
they could install some rpms on their productions servers.  Telling  
them Fedora 9 isn't even supported anymore didn't sit well.
