Which version of Windows is running on the server, and how much RAM does it
have now? Given the small size of your database, it probably won't fully
utilize any RAM in excess of 256Mb, but it may be struggling if it has less
than that.
I'd also check that it isn't running a Screensaver, or going into Standby
mode after 5 mins of inactivity.
