I have just built a server and downloaded the proper version of Virtual Box. Ready to load the Virtual Box software but first some questions.
The server software is in the root directory. Should the Virtual Box software be in the root directory or /home? How should I load the guest system which will be Kubuntu? Should it be loaded in the home directory of the server? Usually I like to create separate partitions for / /home and swap. How would I set those up for use by Virtual Box? I'm new to this virtualization biz but after the first time I won't have to ask again ;-) larryalk ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Nokia and AT&T present the 2010 Calling All Innovators-North America contest Create new apps & games for the Nokia N8 for consumers in U.S. and Canada $10 million total in prizes - $4M cash, 500 devices, nearly $6M in marketing Develop with Nokia Qt SDK, Web Runtime, or Java and Publish to Ovi Store http://p.sf.net/sfu/nokia-dev2dev _______________________________________________ VBox-users-community mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/vbox-users-community
