Joe,

It rained all the way up to the river, even while we were changing into our gear.  Then as we were walking upstream on the path above the river (we parked in Monckton by the old railroad station), the rain stopped, and didn't start up again until we got back to the vehicles and started changing back into our street clothes.

'Tis true...  We caught 4 trout yesterday on the 2nd Annual FYAO at the Gunpowder.  Caught them all on black or olive BH wooly buggers.  Water temps were a might cool though, 36 - 38 degrees.  Think I'm gonna change the name of this tradition.  Instead of the FYAO (Freeze Yer Arse Off), change it to the FYTO (Freeze Yer Toes Off)...

Yep, PA & MD have certain streams open year round for catch and release trout for fly fishing.  Texas just doesn't make the cut.
