Yep, the "Guadalupe Bass", similar to the Kentucky Spotted Bass, but a
completely different species. Doesn't get very big, 5-6 pounds but
fights like a smallmouth. Readily takes a fly. The Guadalupe Bass can
be found in the Guadalupe river above Canyon Dam as well as further down
stream from the trout fishery, where the water is warmer. Also found on
the Llano and San Marcos Rivers and occasionally on the Blanco River.
