But again, my Renzetti has cranked out a pile of hairbugs, muddlers, hoppers, and BOW River Buggers over the years. My Thompsons need some jaw work, as they have tied thousands of hairbugs in my pre-Canada days. You can actually use it as a rotary, though it is not a true rotary where the axis of the hook shank doesn't change position. My concerns about a rotary (having never used one) is that they look less solid than the HMH, DynaKing, Regal type vises.
