Alan:
Do you know that every message that you send to the list requests a return
receipt?
You can turn that function off if you are using Outlook Express by clicking
"Tools" "Options" "Receipts" first little box down needs to be un-checked.

Hey Wes,

Dynaking is the ultimate hairbug vise. HMH is good too.

But again, my Renzetti has cranked out a pile of hairbugs, muddlers,
hoppers, and BOW River Buggers over the years.

My Thompsons need some jaw work, as they have tied thousands of hairbugs in
my pre-Canada days.

Cheers,

Alan

One advantage of the HMH I own is that you CAN flip the fly over easily
to inspect or tie. You can actually use it as a rotary, though it is
not a true rotary where the axis of the hook shank doesn't change
position. The shank remains parallel on an HMH as you rotate, but the
position of the shank rises and falls maybe 1/4".

My concerns about a rotary (having never used one) is that they look
less solid than the HMH, DynaKing, Regal type vises. And talk about
another dumb question...what in the heck is the bobbin cradle used for?
What happens if you don't use it?

Wes
