Yes, my FV3000 needs the same! It has external audio on Line2, gpio=0x4000 (Radio: Line2, gpio=0). On power-up, external audio input is _not_ connected to speaker out. So loop-through only works after software intervention (i.e. the saa7134 module must _actively_ pass audio through).
