when was the last time you used it? they've been extensively
modifying it for some time now. the author is also very
friendly, he answered some questions i had about it.
broadcast is an ok program. i can load a lot of mpeg files in
it. the ones i've found i can't load are captured from stream
via proprietary hardware/osftware under windows. these seem
to have custom mangled headers that don't conform to pure mpeg
spec.
try contacting the author for help.
