I realize that an action in a beta is not a commitment to make a change in the final release, however, I can tell that *some* changes have been made in GB. It is obvious that several controls are labeled that weren't labeled previously. I therefore know that some work has been applied toward improving GB, but I wonder that I'm missing out on other good modifications that they've made.
My point is not to degrade their work, or to complain that they didn't do something that they promised in a beta. My point is that I wish that they would include a detailed list of what is changed in VoiceOver, when a release of OS X comes. It is extremely difficult to know about potentially useful subtle changes without such a list. I've written to Accessibility about the GB changes, and will also ask about the change list. I'll let you all know what they say.
