I still have a IIfx in my parents' basement. It had some kind of 50mhz accelerator that had all kinds of extra wires soldered everywhere. At some point, one of them came loose, and in trying to repair it I made a huge mess of the thing. Someday I'll figure out where all the wires go and get it running again, or perhaps just return it to stock. At the time, I couldn't find anything on the internet about what kind of accelerator it was, or a schematic, and I've just never bothered to get back to it. I don't even remember how much RAM it had, but I remember it being annoyingly little compared to my 840AV.
