All,

Sorry bad choice of terms used, boot disk. What I meant to say was
that I am able to get the normal desktop, with the menu bar at the
top and the floppy ICON on the desktop as well.

I am not able to get the mouse to open any menu on the menu bar when
I click the mouse button. I can get it to move the mouse pointer
around on the desktop but nothing when I click the button.

I have tried booting with out the keyboard attached and I get the
same thing nothing when clicking (click/hold) on a menu item. I plan
on cleaning the connector on the unit it's self and see it that
helps. And I will open it back up again and take a closed look at
the solder joint for any weakness as when I checked last time I did
not notice any corrosion, but will check that again also.

Thanks for all the suggestions so far. I'll report back with the
results of these step once I have a chance to complete them.

Regards,
Mike
