a note about WinImage: it is a shareware, with a 40 day time limit. a very old software actually, goes back to the days of Win 3.x
good thing about it though is that 40 days is not consecutive, but rather it only counts a "day" when you open the program. if you used it once a week the trial would last you almost a year then again, it would be worth buying if you end up using it alot glad to see it worked out for ya On Fri, Sep 25, 2009 at 8:11 AM, chris knight <[email protected]> wrote: > > On Sep 24, 12:19 pm, Wolf <[email protected]> wrote: > > download a program called WinImage. open the newly made disk image from > > within WinImage, and then from the Disk menu, select select the floppy > > drive. then again from the Disk menu, select Write. accept any prompts > about > > overwriting a formatted disk (it is detecting the FAT filesystem on the > > floppy) > > > > the result will (at least should) be an empty HFS formatted disk > > This solution worked perfectly.
