about Windows 7, MS never offered support for reading anything other than
the FAT, NTFS, UDF filesystems and Joliet/ISO9660 formats on their Windows
operating systems. combined with BootCamp, yes i could imagine Apple made up
a filesystem driver to read the HFS+ volumes on a Mac/BootCamp drive,
becuase otherwise it would be a pain in the ass to get yer Mac files under
native Windows (having to reboot into Mac OS X in the middle of a Windows
operation, etc)
