I have to ask: is this fear on Apple's part (in this case, cannibalizing
laptop/iPad sales) what has kept it from releasing a hard keyboard for the
iPhone?

MacAlly seems to have had the BTKeyMini Bluetooth Keyboard ready to go since
early 2008, but apparently still can't sell the things as of 1Q 2010 because
Apple won't release a Bluetooth driver that will allow it to work.

(Am I missing something here besides concerns of such a keyboard drastically
shortening battery life?)

Best,

James Fraser
