Make sure it has plenty of ventilation. Keep stuff away from the vents. Put it
up on little blocks under the feet so more air can flow underneath. Don't set
it on top of a hard drive or anything else that gives off heat.
Don't smoke around it or any computer. Keep your furry pets away from it too.
Dust buildup inside is the main problem after keeping smoke and pet hair away.
Dust is a problem because it traps heat, even worse for convection cooled
equipment.
