You are running a Performa version of System 7.1 (7.1P6). There is no
stock menu clock in System 7.1. You want SuperClock, a utility which
is mentioned on the old Gamba site here: 
http://home.earthlink.net/~gamba2/71more.html

sure it will come.

The Gamba page is a useful reference for add-ons. Also try the "Pickle
lowend Mac FAQ" for more 7.1 update suggestions.

Your 550 will be most happy running 7.1, though 7.5 is also very good
(if slower) on 68030 hardware.
