So, I have a IIsi. I also have a 'Unimac Fly' DA15 to VGA adapter, with 8 DIP switches. The adapter works fine with my Performa 6360 but I can't get a signal to my Viewsonic VE5106 LCD monitor from the IIsi using this adapter.
On the bottom of the adapter, it says (verbatim) "for sync on green, switch #5+8 OFF" I found one monitor that works without a hitch. I plug in the standard, non-switched DA15 to VGA adapter and voila, it works. Trouble is, said monitor is not mine and it never will be. I'm running System 7.0.1. In the monitor control panel, there is no option to change resolution (when I'm using the monitor that works with it) No matter the settings, I can't get a signal to this monitor. I know the Viewsonic monitor works, as I have it connected to the Performa. Any suggestions of help would be greatly appreciated. -- ----- You received this message because you are a member of the Vintage Macs group.
