Having typed that, I realise that the Mac IIsi does not have expansion slots other than the PDS. I'm not sure if any graphics cards were made to fit it.
The problem with the Power Macintosh 6100 lies somewhere else, I believe. The built-in graphics card doesn't do more than 832 x 624, even with the video-memory upgraded. I've succesfully connected an LCD to it, running at said resolution. However, that was without using an adapter. I used a DB-15 to VGA cable that came with my Power Macintosh 4400 and 17" display.
