Get a Zip 100 SCSI drive or something similar size like a 3.5" Magneto Optical or SyQuest. Copy the contents of that mounted multi-part image to one of those disks. You can also install a universal 7.5.3 System to the removable disk and use it to boot Macs and install 7.5.3 plus the 7.5.5 update. > Also, what is a good piece of software to act as a bridge > to allow the > incoming Ethernet TCP/IP packets over the AppleTalk > network? Apple's LocalTalk Bridge. http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1258?viewlocale=en_US It used to not be free but some time back Apple must have decided they weren't going to sell any more copies and unlike so many companies decided to give it away. Used to be a limited version for printer sharing only, LaserWriter Bridge was freeware - which you can still download if you just want to share a LocalTalk connected LaserWriter over ethernet. -- ----- You received this message because you are a member of the Vintage Macs group.
