With the PC you can easily put *uncompressed* Mac floppy disk images onto 1.44M disks. Search for RAWRITE for Windows. If you have Linux on that Dell it should already have that utility. Another solution, a bit more complex, is to setup the Basilisk II 68k Mac emulator on the Dell. With that you can run up to OS 8.1 and use all kinds of Mac formatted media including working with compressed Disk Copy images. Check out emaculation.com for info on Macintosh emulators.
