True, it requires 24-bit addressing.
All 68K Macs with the exception of the AVs can do 24-bit addressing.
Any OS from 7.6 on up will prevent the use of 24-bit addressing, but ISTR
the Apple IIe card only works well on 7.1.x and 7.0.x anyway.
