I know NetBSD has been ported but I vaugley kinda remember it needing MMU, and until I get a monitor, mouse, and keyboard ~cable~ happening over here, I'm limited to Basilisk II emulating a Quadra 950 [most of the time anyways]. I don't suppose anyone here would have a direct download link to binaries for Debian would they? I mean not just links to packages, but say in the PC world, like a link to an ISO, or an EXE , or zip/rar/ace...etc...Something to save on having to download lots of individual files to save time, etc. bleh.
Still wouldn't mind hearing stuff on Rhapsody/NeXTSTEP/OpenStep too. Anybody have either of the 3? --Nightwing ----- Original Message ----- From: "iriXx" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Vintage Macs" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Thursday, August 21, 2003 11:06 PM Subject: Re: Unix O/S's for 680x0 chips. > Debian GNU/Linux has been ported to 680x0, and theres AU/X, but i can > never remember the complex list of what it will/won't run on. has BSD > been ported? i'd be suirprised if it hasnt. > i've just got a 475 donated to my collection so i'm gonna give it a > go... decisions decisions, which one of my 680x0's will i linuxify?.... > > m~ > > Nightwing wrote: > > > Heya, I've been on the list for a little while now, just generally the > > quiet, observent, always listening type, blah.
