The IIfx requires a 200 ohm terminating resistor. Apple used to sell black terminators for the IIfx. Thse were for external devices. I would assume that this the internal equivalent. However, I have heard of IIfx's using regular grey SCSI terminators and not having a problem despite what Apple says.
I'm not a IIfx expert, being that I work in a school. We didn't exactly have $10,000 to plunk down on a wicked fast computer in 1990-1991. Nope, they got us Classics instead. I have worked with the original Mac II, though--just not in the school because even that was out of our budget in 1987. --- Allan Hunter <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > I don't know if this is relevant to the question > you're asking or > not, but the IIfx had unusual/unorthodox SCSI.
