No, it's a good question. The particular podcast I'm starting with happens to mention using iTunes and I figured it would be easier to start there. Plus, I wanted this stuff on my computer where it would be easier to archive (backup). I'd probably move these items to a Stream rather than a phone because of battery life issues in addition to the backup issue. I hope that covers your questions.
