Hi. I understand your fears; I used to have an nokia 2210 navigator and it was small and a really great size. I now have the iPhone 6 and it is true it is much larger but it is also much, much thinner. I have it in a really sturdy case with a screen protector and although this increases the size dramatically, you do get used to it and on the occasions I have to take the phone from the case, the phone seams very small in comparison so it is really a matter of getting used to it. The phone on it's own is rigid and there is no danger of bending, I think that issue was with the 6+ but not the 6. The price certainly is an issue but it depends on how much storage you want. Obviously an 8gig 6 is going to be substantially cheaper than a 128gig 6 so you will find prices vary depending on capacity. I don't think Apple are doing the 6 in 128gig any more, or at least they didn't have on their web site and when I went to the apple store, they only had one 128gig left, which I grabbed. Although I wouldn't recommend it, you could go down the second hand rout and if you are in the uk, you could keep an eye on Recycle it where I've seen a few iPhone 6's on offer. Play.com is also a good option as well as Amazon if you want an unlocked phone. The other options are to go for a contract with a carrier and get a phone included in the package, it just depends on how much you can afford and if you want your phone locked to that network. I'm with Vodafone and have a good sim only deal, it is a 12 month contract and I get unlimited texts, unlimited calls to geographic and non-geographic numbers and 10gig of data per month. Plus I get spotify and other movie and entertainment packages which are normally premium services but I get them free for 3 months. This costs me £18.50 (around $28) per month. So there are loads of options out there but I can assure you the iPhone 6 is rigid. Walter.
