There have been rumors of smaller iPhones for the last few years and it hasn't happened yet. Not to say that it won't but just that this rumor has made the rounds a few times before. We won't know until next June. Rest assured that there will be plenty of rumors though, and many from good sources, like CNN or CNET. Given that it took Apple a long time to finally get larger phones, and that many competitor phones are larger than the 6S+, I don't know how likely the smaller iPhone rumor is, but who knows.
