Hi Fanus, I doubt it would and so far Anne’s post is the only one I saw on this list that there is a battery drain issue. I didn’t ask if she just updated or if she followed the few precautions I usually like to follow, primarily to close all apps from the app switcher and to at least reboot the device or, even better, do a Reset Network Settings. I know she feels Voiceover was to blame and maybe this is so, but often a Reset Network Settings may fix battery drain issues and it’s something to try before going through the trouble to reset your device and start from scratch. I usually only do this every couple of years when I get a new phone and I find it is at least 2-3 hours of work depending on how many apps you have which you need to open separately and sign in. These would be for email/online file storage accounts such as OneDrive and Dropbox, apps like Expedia, Hotels.com, financial/banking apps, home automation apps such as thermostats, video cameras, weather station and on and on. It is tedious especially if like me you use different and complicated passwords as well as two-factor authentication where possible.
