Hi, I have been using the Instant Pot for about a year. I think I use it at least once a week, and I really enjoy using it. I can't imagine not having the blue tooth connectivity. Not only does it make setting all of the seetings -- including function, time, level, etc. -- possible, but the IOS connectivity lets you keep track of what the Instant Pot is doing. I definitely recommend paying the extra money for the blue tooth connectivity and access to the IOS app.
As for new features, I read that the new model allows for higher pressure -- high enough to allow people use it for canning fruits and vegetables.
