I could see a couple of advantages to having a connected keyboard. One would be 
that you don’t have to worry about the freeze ups that happened with Bluetooth, 
or at least that used to be very common. I don’t know if they still are. 
Another advantage is portability. Throw it in your backpack. Not two devices, 
just one. Same thing goes for the Bluetooth speaker. Who needs that if you have 
the iPad which has decent speakers? I think it really comes down to how 
comfortable you are with the keyboard interface for the device. I should think 
it would be about the same on the iPad as it would be including with 
spreadsheets. Plus how important is easy portability? How important is it to 
you not to have to learn a whole new screen reader and operating system?
