I agree from the point of a totally blind person. I had a big tablet, sold it.
I was using the screen about as much as the keyboard, but like a small screen,
which is why I like my SE.

I wanted to get a big Apple tablet for my husband, because he uses his Kindle
Fire so much, charges a couple of times a day, but he says he likes the Kindle,
is not interested in an iPad right now.

Best regards,

Carolyn

Hi Reggie,

Why do you think an iPad will offer you a better experience than your iPhone?
You can just as easily pair a keyboard with your iPhone and buy an Airprint
compatible printer, just about all HP printers are and many others, just look
for "Airprint".
What is the cost of an iPad Pro 9.7 inch with 256Gb of storage and the keyboard
you mentioned in the US? Probably at least $1,000? You can buy a basic but
completely capable Windows 10 laptop for half that and if you use NVDA youy
wouldn't even have to pay for a screenreader. Just my two cents worth. Before
you spend all that money I'd make an appointment at an Apple store and spend an
hour or so with an iPad Pro 9.7 inch and see if you even like it, a lot of
completely blind people find that large of a screen difficult when it comes to
orientation or knowing where to look for what on the screen.

Subject: iPad, printer, keyboard case

So, this is what I am thinking. I want the ability to print. I want the
smallest screen I can get. I use my devices for apps, email, and messages.
Instead of getting a newer mac and because I am used to IOS I am thinking of an
iPad pro 9.7 inch screen, 128 or 256 gigs storage and Apple's smart keyboard
and a printer that is compatible with this device.

1 Would an newer iPad be compatible with any printers?
2 if I have to go to iPad pro or even if iPad would do printing, what printer
should i buy that is accessible?
3 Are there any iPad cases with built in keyboards that would automatically
connect with either device or do they all have a number to put in?
Thank you for any thoughts. There is just so much out there, and the most
important questions are not answered so asking here.

God said, "I need somebody strong enough to pull sleds and find bombs, yet
gentle enough to love babies and lead the blind. Somebody who will spend all
day on a couch with a resting head and supportive eyes to lift the spirits of a
broken heart." So God made a dog.
