I was more curious about just a bit of real-world experience, for example, if somebody has this system, how fast does it recognize stuff, do you hold up your iPhone and it’s virtually instantaneous as in it starts reading the tag in a second or less etc.

There are a number of podcasts and videos on the product and I get the sense that you could contact the Way Around people with your questions. It’s still a small company. Has anybody used it? I am curious as to how large the buttons are they mention and whether they can be used to replace say a regular shirt button. Braille labels are still the best for some things and after having received my expensive little LoganTech 6-Dot labeler I must say that I’m very impressed, but for other things a system like WayAround with its corresponding app is better since you can record a lot more information. I really like the idea of using the iPhone which is almost always with me and considering the cost of say the Pen Friend compared to this and the versatility of WayAround versus the Pen Friend it is pretty tempting.
